We’re very pleased to announce the winners from our biggest ever Summer Sale Prize Draw!
A big congratulations to Rebecca Finlay, who can be seen above collecting her bumper hamper of prizes from our Canterbury store – that’s an astonishing array of art and craft materials worth over £500. Here’s what Rebecca had to say to us:
“A huge thank you from me to Cowling & Wilcox for such an amazingly generous prize – I am overwhelmed! I couldn’t believe all the wonderful art materials and equipment there was when I opened the box.
I’m always visiting Cowling & Wilcox to buy birthday and Christmas presents for my three boys, twins age 8 and a 6 year old, or for their cousins. We are an arty family and I have always encouraged the boys to do lots of art. I do watercolours mainly, usually birthday cards. I like botanical painting and printmaking too.
We’ll love using and sharing all the art stuff – thank you so much! Here’s a photo of my youngest being creative this summer…”

“Thank you, this is the first time I have won a competition! I’m a recent graphic design graduate of London College of Communication, UAL and also this summer I have started to paint – mainly geometric/graphic stuff with acrylics on found wood and canvas. Unfortunately I don’t own a camera so do not have any photos of the paintings I’ve been making, but I have a link to my portfolio website which can be found at http://www.guymunday.co.uk.”
